Job Description: The Journeyman Electrician Performs varied electrical, basic control and instrument and basic mechanical maintenance activities and other duties necessary to maintain the generation facility and high voltage equipment to which they are assigned. Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment in a power generation facility and high-voltage equipment
- Maintain and support plant control systems and related electrical components.
- Perform equipment inspections, testing, and calibration to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete electrical work safely and efficiently.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate work records.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Journey level in the electrical trade
- Completion of a State Approved Apprenticeship Program
