Location: Remote (Ohio-based applicants preferred, but not required) Type: Volunteer or Unpaid Internship (Academic credit available upon request) Industry: Marketing & Communications Position Summary All Aboard Ohio is seeking a creative Volunteer or Intern TikTok Content Creator to help us reach new audiences through short-form video. This role is about translating transportation advocacy into content that's entertaining, informative, and built for the way people actually watch TikTok — content that will also be shared across AAO's other platforms. Key Responsibilities Brainstorm, script, film, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts Translate transportation and advocacy topics into accessible, engaging video content Stay current on TikTok trends, sounds, and formats and adapt them to AAO's voice Coordinate with the TikTok Manager and communications team on messaging, timing, and campaign tie-ins Help build out a content calendar and video library over time Preferred Qualifications Comfort filming and editing short-form video (phone-shot content is fine) Familiarity with TikTok trends, editing tools, and short-form storytelling Creative, self-starting, and comfortable pitching original content ideas Interest in transportation, advocacy, or public policy is a plus but not required What You'll Gain Real ownership over content on a growing platform for a fast-growing nonprofit A portfolio of published short-form video work Mentorship from the communications team and exposure to statewide advocacy campaigns Eligible for academic credit or capstone alignment (based on institutional approval) #J-18808-Ljbffr
