Key Responsibilities Design and develop cutting edge python software for the healthcare market. Create infrastructure to support the use of Large Language Model inference to solve back-office tasks for healthcare providers. Be instrumental in optimizing these codebases to enable them to run in large-scale deployments. Safeguard private healthcare information by creating secure, attack resistant services and APIs. Design and architect scalable and efficient software solutions. Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development processes. Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Requirements Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and two years of experience, including: Software development with a focus on backend engineering. Designing and implementing scalable solutions in Python Using Kubernetes, Containers, CI/CD, AI Model APIs, Agile Methodologies, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud services and GitHub. Maintenance and enhancement of inherited code with best coding practices. Work Environment & Lifestyle Hybrid Role: This position is primarily remote, but you’ll be expected to meet with the team once a week in San Francisco. Outside of these weekly in-person sessions, you’ll have the flexibility and autonomy to work from home. Travel: You can expect about 25% travel to client sites, team gatherings, or industry events. Schedule: Our standard hours are 9 AM – 6 PM, M-F. As a growing startup, we value adaptability; occasionally, this may mean adjusting your schedule to meet pressing deadlines or client needs.
