Position Details

Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment techniques and home exercise programs
- Accurately document treatments and patient responses
- Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience
- Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Must successfully pass all facility-required screenings and credentialing processes
- For this position, state law requires a criminal background check as a condition of employment
- Must maintain all required licenses and certifications in good standing
