Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join a patient-focused rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and regain independence through individualized treatment plans.


The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment techniques and home exercise programs
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses
• Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully pass all facility-required screenings and credentialing processes
• For this position, state law requires a criminal background check as a condition of employment
• Must maintain all required licenses and certifications in good standing
