Engineer - Night Shift

Job Title

Responsible for operation of boiler room, machine rooms, and related systems throughout Seattle Children's, and repairs and maintenance of the complex to provide a safe and comfortable environment for staff and patients.

Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum five (5) years experience in operation of high pressure steam boilers, and related systems and devices.

Required Credentials A minimum of a Grade II Steam Engineer license issued by the City of Seattle obtained within 12 months of hire Seattle Refrigeration Operating Engineer license must be obtained within 12 months of hire. -NFPA 70E within 90 days of hire Preferred Grade I Steam Engineer license issued by the City of Seattle. UST Class C

Compensation Range

$46.96 - $70.43 per hour

Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
