Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work synergistically with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, from preparing the operating room to ensuring appropriate patient alignment and instrument delivery
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis

Required Certifications

• Hold a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS credentials are mandatory
• Possess state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
