Job Summary:

The Medical/Surgical RN is responsible for providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to respond efficiently in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical unit during day shifts.
  
  
• 
  Perform thorough assessments and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately using computerized systems in compliance with standards.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations to ensure patient safety.
  
  
• 
  Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold organizational mission, vision, and values.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to perform excellent assessment and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated capacity to function independently in high-pressure environments.
  
  
• 
  Strong computer and documentation skills in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations.
