Start your next contract as a school psychologist in the greater Dover, DE area, supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic needs in a K-4 setting. This flexible opportunity welcomes both full-time and part-time professionals who bring a current license and a passion for making a real difference in students’ daily lives. If you prefer working with a specific grade span, your preferences will be valued and accommodated!
With an immediate opening, you’ll step into a role where your expertise is needed to provide in-person support, replacing virtual services with face-to-face engagement. Collaborate with a team dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate while receiving the flexibility you need to balance your professional and personal life.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid School Psychologist license
Experience working within K-4 settings preferred, but all grade range interests considered
Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt services to individual student needs
Dedicated to providing in-person support to students, staff, and families
Open to full-time or part-time schedules based on your availability
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for student support planning
Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
Consult with staff and caregivers on academic and behavioral challenges
Support the transition from virtual to in-person psychological services
