Institutes of Health Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team the RN will support clinical operations coordinate patient care provide education and help ensure outstanding patient outcomes Schedule Monday Friday 40 hoursweek700 AM 530 PMOn Call Requirements Participation in weekend and holiday on call rotation including a minimum of one full weekend per month Responsibilities Deliver high quality patient centered nursing care in an outpatient clinical settingPerform patient assessments and accurately document findings in the electronic medical recordAssist providers with examinations procedures treatments and patient educationTriage patient concerns and coordinate appropriate follow up careMonitor patient conditions and communicate significant changes to providersSupport chronic disease management and preventive health initiativesCoordinate referrals consultations and continuity of careCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plansMaintain accurate documentation in NIH electronic health systemsFollow all infection prevention patient safety privacy and quality assurance standardsPerform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Nursing BSN Associate Degree in Nursing ADN or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing programSuccessful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination NCLEXCurrent unrestricted Registered Nurse license in at least one US state territory or commonwealthCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsMinimum of two 2 years of recent hospital experience in apheresisAbility to successfully complete the AMI credentialing processStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent communication and patient education skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced clinical environmentStrong organizational
