Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Emergency Department experience required. License: Valid California RN License required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Flu vaccination required. - Pediatric Emergency Department experience required. - Must have supervisory references at the time of submission. Description: This position requires working in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment. You may be required to work a 7th shift if census increases, with prior scheduling notifications. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Floating to other units may be required. No on-call duties are expected for this role. All licenses must be active at the time of submission, no pending licenses accepted. Sick leave policy allows for a maximum of 10 days. Travelers should be flexible with scheduling. Background checks will be conducted for any license or background issues. Traveler should have experience working with various patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily patient census can range from 187 to 300. Interdisciplinary support will be provided by various teams, including respiratory services and social services. Pediatric, adult, and geriatric diagnoses are part of the patient care spectrum.
