Now Hiring: Chemist (6-Month Contract) – Weston, FL

Location: Weston, FL (Onsite)

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Pay: $33.00–$36.00 per hour

Duration: 6-Month Contract

We are seeking to hire a group of Chemists to join a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing team on a 6-month contract . This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of laboratory experience looking to build their career in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Operate analytical instruments including HPLC/UPLC, Empower, FTIR, UV-Vis , and other laboratory equipment.
• Prepare reagents, solvents, and analytical solutions.
• Accurately document laboratory activities following cGMP , FDA, SOP, and corporate guidelines.
• Analyze data, complete routine calculations, and maintain laboratory records.
• Support manufacturing activities and sample preparation.
• Assist with method transfers, equipment qualification, and project timelines.
• Follow all laboratory safety and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality and production objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
• Experience or familiarity with HPLC/UPLC, Empower, FTIR, UV-Vis , or similar analytical instruments.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
• Must wear required PPE, including lab coat, gloves, and eye protection.
