General Function


The PT Plumbing Instructor will prepare students for a successful career in the plumbing industry through classroom instruction, delivery of project-based learning activities, assessment, examination and grading.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares and update material/outlines.
• Provides traditional lecture and project-based learning activities including real-world scenarios as it relates to plumbing.
• Prepare course objectives following industry standards.
• Plans and document a program of study that meets the individual needs and abilities of students
• Provides instruction using handouts, texts, audiovisual, and project based learning
• Maintains accurate attendance records and submits timely end of course paperwork

Minimum Qualifications

• NC License or five years of direct experience

• Experience in training others in a workforce or classroom/lab setting.
• Willing to teach day or evening classes.
• Willing to earn NCCER certification within two months of employment.
• Familiar with MS Office
