Night Auditor

The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing and auditing the hotel’s daily financial transactions and serving as the main point of contact for guests during the overnight shift. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent guest service. Schedule: Weekends (Friday, Saturday) and some other days, based on need. Job Duties: Perform nightly audit procedures, post room and tax, close the business day, and prepare management reports. Assist guests with check-in, check-out, reservations, payments, and inquiries, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Act as the primary point of contact and decision-maker when the only staff member on-site. Support any late-night guest needs with a focus on hospitality and problem-solving. Accurately balance and reconcile department accounts, including Front Desk, Food & Beverage, credit cards, and room charges. Among other duties. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. 1–2 years of experience in night audit, front desk, or accounting. Previous hotel or customer service experience; Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt preferred. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
