Lending Assistant

Lending Assistant is responsible for working closely with a relationship management team and assist with loan documentation, loan servicing, client management, and interaction with other departments in the bank to meet internal/external client needs. Duties include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities Assist with lending related activities, such as loan closings, preparation and initial review of loan documents, loan fundings, ordering and reviewing title reports, UCC filings, and various inquiries Correspond with customers and interact with Relationship Managers regarding loan details to collect various documents and financial information. Monitor daily workflow and operations. Review loan documents to ensure accuracy with terms and conditions per credit approval. Assist Relationship Managers in the management and creation of CRM opportunities, credit documents, and processing collateral release requests. Assist clients with deposit related activities, such as opening new accounts, wire originations and transfers, account transfers, exception item processing, and various inquiries. Assist Relationship Managers with administrative responsibilities such as answering phones, filing, general correspondence, preparation and initial review of loan documents, maintaining credit/documentation files, and gathering financial information. Prepare various monthly activity monitoring reports. Interact with customers and bank officers to process collection of various documents and financial information as reflected as exceptions. Assist with expense report. Assist with marketing related activities such as event planning and client tracking. Notarize loan document. Other duties and projects as assigned. Position Requirements 3+ years of experience in loan processing or loan servicing and working knowledge of commercial loan documentation in a financial environment. Sense of urgency. Ability to respond appropriately to customer inquiries in a fast-paced work environment while handling multiple tasks. Excellent computer knowledge, including a strong understanding of Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Banking and/or mortgage background is a plus. Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00.
