About the Role We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery - Sheeter, 2nd Shift to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery - Sheeter, 2nd Shift , you will be accountable for operating and monitoring high-speed bakery production lines to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Shift & Schedule Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Compensation Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $22.00 Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Operate and monitor high-speed bakery production lines to ensure efficient and consistent output. Verify production equipment readiness, including sensors, guides, and safety devices. Monitor ingredient and raw material availability to support uninterrupted production. Review and maintain process parameters, including temperature and timing specifications. Document production issues, corrective actions, and operational data accurately. Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs. Maintain food safety, GMP, hygiene, and workplace safety standards throughout production activities. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High School Diploma or GED required. Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate operating screens and production systems. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment. Knowledge of GMP standards and commitment to workplace safety. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends as required. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Prior experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing, production, or packing environment. Experience operating high-speed production equipment. Familiarity with food safety and quality systems in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
