Business Analyst (Program Support)
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid Century Park, 4 days onsite) Pay Rate: $52$54/hour Assignment Length: 1-year contract (potential extension/conversion)
About the Role
We are partnering with a leading Southern California energy company focused on delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions. They are seeking a Business Analyst to support a portfolio of customer-focused programs, including energy efficiency and discount initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone with program or project support experience who enjoys working in a structured, data-driven, and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple programs, including energy efficiency and customer discount initiatives
- Assist Program Advisors with tracking, reporting, and day-to-day program operations
- Analyze program data and help ensure accuracy, compliance, and performance tracking
- Coordinate across internal teams to support program execution and deadlines
- Maintain documentation, reports, and process workflows
- Provide general program and project support as needed
Qualifications
- 25+ years of experience in program coordination, business analysis, or project support roles (e.g., Program Specialist, Junior PM, Business Analyst)
- Experience working in a structured or regulated environment (utilities, energy, government, etc.) is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- SAP experience is a plus
Additional Details
- Schedule: MondayThursday onsite, Fridays remote
- Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM 3:00 PM PST (some flexibility available)
- Interview Process: 1 round with hiring manager (may include additional team members)
- Training: On-the-job training and shadowing provided
- Team Size: 5 (3 Program Advisors, 2 support roles)
