Starting Date Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Collaborates with classroom teachers as a partner in the instructional process Designs, teaches, and assesses learning experiences that incorporate inquiry learning, information literacies, critical thinking, and self‑assessment Promotes a love of reading and lifelong learning Promotes reading in traditional and innovative ways such as social media, digital media, and print Promotes instructional technology to engage students and improve learning Teaches students to build on prior knowledge to construct new knowledge Teaches search techniques, including online search engines, database, and catalog searching Teaches coding Collaborates with other educators to build and strengthen connections between student information and research needs, curricular content, learning outcomes, and information resources Maintains an attractive physical environment in the library to promote interest in and use of library materials Inventories library books, curriculum materials, equipment, and other items to track current holdings Works with administration to develop student‑centered goals for media services and to support and fund a library media program that meets the learning and teaching needs of the school community and supports the Curriculum Frameworks Provides direct instruction to grades 4‑6 students Compensation $54,373 - $93,870, commensurate with experience Position Type Full-time Job Requirements Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure Letter of Interest Resume Transcripts Three (3) current prior letters of reference At least one year of relevant experience (preferred) Bachelor’s degree (preferred) Citizenship, residency, or work visa required #J-18808-Ljbffr
