Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely operate heavy machinery to support construction, excavation, grading, and site development projects while following all company standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, and skid steers.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Keep equipment clean
  • Excavate, grade, level, clear and move materials according to project specifications.
  • Load and unload construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Follow site plans, supervisor instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
  • Operating excavators with different attachments such as (mulchers, shear, grapple saw and pontoons is a huge plus)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints, and site plans is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay based on experience.
