About the Role:
Hess Furniture Company, Inc. is looking for a hardworking and dependable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Mt Pleasant, TX! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in getting beautiful furniture into the hands of our customers while keeping our warehouse running smoothly. If you enjoy staying active, working with a great team, and taking pride in a job well done, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customer homes and businesses in a timely manner
• Professionally interact with customers during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience
• Assist with furniture assembly and placement at delivery locations as needed
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory in the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Inspect furniture for damage before and after transport and report any issues
• Assist with pulling, staging, and preparing orders for delivery

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) regularly
• Prior delivery, warehouse, or furniture experience is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
• Ability to navigate local routes efficiently
