Financial Analyst (Non-profit)

Finance Grants Analyst
Location: Koreatown, Los Angeles
Duration: 4-6 months

A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Finance Grants Analyst to support an increase in workload. This is a contract opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in grant accounting and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in finance or related field, or 6+ years of comparable analyst experience in place of a degree
• Background in nonprofit finance or grant accounting
• Strong Excel skills (advanced level preferred)
• Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and build reporting models to support decision-making
• Ensure fiscal compliance, including applying Title 2 CFR 200 standards with subrecipients and supporting funder audits
• Process payroll and perform cost allocations
• Prepare and manage private grant financial reporting
