Our team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter who is committed to the success of our business.This person can reside at any of our site locations in Maryland, Virginia or New Jersey.Position SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the Talent Acquisition function by assisting with full cycle recruiting activities in accordance with Company policies and all Federal, State, and Local employment regulations. This role partners closely with hiring managers and senior recruiting team members to help attract, screen, and coordinate candidates while building a strong talent pipeline.Representative ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities represent general duties of this role and may vary based on business needs.Support hiring managers and senior recruiters in identifying staffing needs and recruitment strategiesAssist with sourcing and attracting candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referralsProactively build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needsScreen resumes and conducts initial phone screensSchedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managersCommunicate employer brand, job details, and benefits information to candidates throughout the recruiting processMaintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)Assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and assessments (Non-DOT and DOT as applicable)Provide a positive candidate experience through timely follow-up and communicationSupport relationships with external partners such as staffing agencies, colleges, and community organizationsAssist with recruiting reports and tracking hiring activityStay informed on company policies, organizational structure, and employment regulationsParticipate in job fairs, hiring events, and other recruitment initiatives as neededPerform other job-related duties as assignedExperience, Education, CertificationRequired:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or talent acquisition supportStrong communication and organizational skillsValid Driver's LicensePreferred:PHR certification.Experience in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Experience with Dayforce or other HCM systems.Related training or certifications.Knowledge and CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and team members at all levelsProfessional judgment and discretion when handling confidential informationStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsWillingness to learn and grow within the talent acquisition fieldAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamCommitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practicesCustomer-service mindset with a focus on positive candidate experienceCanada Dry offers a salary of $65K-75K. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
