Director of MaintenanceWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Maintenance to join our team at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a leader in our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents, employees, and visitors by overseeing maintenance staff and performing various maintenance and repair tasks. If you are a strong leader with a passion for maintaining a high level of quality and a commitment to excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.Job Summary:High school diploma or equivalent, requiredAt least 2 years of building maintenance experience, requiredValid NYS Driver's License, requiredWorking knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) regulations preferredWorking knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and mechanical procedures requiredMechanical HVAC knowledge requiredPrior supervisory and leadership experience preferredMust be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliableStrong customer service skills and compassionEssential Job Functions:Supervise the maintenance staff to ensure a safe and comfortable facility that meets the needs of our residents, employees, and visitorsPerform a variety of general, preventative, routine and emergency maintenance and repairs in the buildings and on the groundsConduct daily, weekly and monthly inspections of the facilityMaintain the grounds, facilities, and equipment in a safe and efficient mannerResponsible for snow and ice removal.
