Security Officer Patrol Agent – East Durham, NY What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and/or activities according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns. Monitor access points, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help support authorized entry procedures and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations. Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel as needed regarding incidents, service requests, and changing conditions at the location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
