Direct Care Worker
Join University Home Care Inc as a Direct Care Worker in Harris Township, MI, where you will provide compassionate and dedicated support to individuals in need. This role is essential in helping clients maintain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions as instructed
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition
- Follow care plans and uphold safety and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or related field is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for client care
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor IS A MUST
- Valid driver's license or State ID is required for the position
- Own Reliable transportation is a plus
