Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) | Full-Time
???? Location: Long Beach, CA
???? Schedule: Swing Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
???? Full-Time
We are a growing behavioral health & substance abuse treatment center seeking a dependable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support clients in recovery. Perfect for those pursuing careers in mental health, addiction treatment, or social services .
Key Responsibilities- ???? Provide direct client care and supervision
- ???? Complete intakes, documentation, and EMR data entry
- ???? Conduct rounds and monitor client behavior
- ???? Perform drug testing and assist with med pass
- ???? Support program rules and client accountability
- ???? Communicate with clinical and operations teams
- ???? High school diploma (required)
- ???? CADC / Recovery Worker or in progress (preferred)
- ❤️ CPR & First Aid certified
- ???? Experience in behavioral health or substance abuse (preferred)
- ⏰ Dependable and punctual
- ????️ Strong communication skills
- ???? Calm, professional, and team-oriented
