Lead Teacher Assistant - PreK and below

UCP of Central Florida unlocks the potential of thousands of children each year at our campuses, pediatric therapy clinics and parent support programs.Job Responsibilities:Implements lessons plan including instructional groups per teacher’s direction.Assists in planning and developing/setting up instructional materials for classroom.Assist in administering assessments/program monitoring.Works with the teacher in documenting academic progress through authentic observations and data collection.Utilize and ensure consistent implementation of behavior techniques and classroom management techniques and data collection.Perform teacher duties in his/her absence.Keep up on best and promising practices for education (i.e., attending professional development, participating in book studies, etc.)Provide caretaking/housekeeping duties as needed (i.e., changing of students, keeping classroom clean)Maintain positive staff and parent interactions and communication.Attend required trainings, meetings and events.Ensure the administration is informed of all parent and individual student concerns and complaints.Ensure compliance with procedures, requirements and guidelines set forth by UCP, HIPAA, NAEYC, Department of Education, 4C, Department of Children and Families, and other State and Federal agencies.Perform other duties as assigned.What UCP OffersOur mission at UCP is to empower children with and without disabilities to achieve their potential by providing individualized support, education and therapy services in an inclusive environment.
