High-Risk Cardiology - Team Lead/Charge Nurse (Night Shift)

Overview High‑Risk Cardiology nurse position in a 32‑bed unit covering cardiac illnesses. Provides advanced medication infusions, post‑cardiac procedure care, and collaborates closely with cardiology consults. Responsibilities Facilitate identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into ambulatory setting. Lead development and implementation of complex care plans with interprofessional team input. Utilize evidence‑based practices, participate in journal club, drive practice change, and disseminate knowledge. Analyze gaps in practice standards and provide feedback to improve patient safety. Adjust care to improve patient experience and satisfaction. Maintain safety‑sensitive work standards in a highly alert environment. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree. Experience: 2–5 years nursing experience. Licensure: RN. Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Experience: 5–10 years nursing experience. Supervisor Experience: 1–2 years supervisory experience.
