Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Emergency Room experience required License: Massachusetts RN License required Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active American Heart Association PALS Must-Have: - Ability to function independently under general guidance - Strong time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving skills - Critical thinking skills and emotional stability in emergency settings - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: This position involves delivering care in a fast-paced emergency room setting. The RN will demonstrate independent judgment and action according to established protocols. Must possess effective communication and leadership skills. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable. Requested time off must be noted upon submission, with no more than 5 days accepted. Scheduling requests must be made when submitting the application. All scheduling requests made after the offer may lead to the rescinded offer. Emergency Experience required includes triage and cardiac unit exposure. Preferred qualifications include IV certification and experience with specific electronic health record systems. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be current.
