If so, Valley Hope welcomes you!Valley Hope of Moundridge, located just north of Wichita, has provided residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment services since 2010.Education & Experience:Associate's degree in nursing.Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in the state of employment.Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.One (1) year of clinical nursing care work experience.Compensation:PRN Base Rate: $40/hrShift Differentials:Night: $4.25Weekend Night: $4.75Weekend Day: $1.00Benefits (for full-time and part-time staff):Medical coverage — Valley Hope pays up to 85% of premiumsDental & vision plans at competitive ratesUp to 27 days of PTO (based on position and tenure)8 paid holidays (including a personal day)Paid parental leave401(k) with employer matchTuition assistance to grow your careerStudent loan repayment supportPublic Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employerHSA & FSA options to manage healthcare costsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for added supportAnd more perks designed with you in mind!Job Summary:Executes prescribed treatments and medication interventions as established for each patient.Implements nursing care in accordance with Valley Hope's medical philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies to ensure quality patient care.Conducts detox admissions and provides patient care during patient detoxification process including pre-screening of patients, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, and monitoring of patient.Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely; completes paperwork requirements as needed in an accurate and timely manner.Communicates with nursing supervisors, nursing staff, and clinical staff regarding patients' treatment and status.Follows established policies and procedures for all medical emergencies (i.e., convulsions, suicides, Delirium Tremens, etc.).Maintains a safe and sanitary environment applying infection control techniques and universal precautions.Oversees non-licensed nursing staff as instructed by and under the direction of the facility Nursing Director.Work Environment:Residential treatment facility setting; requires walking throughout the facility.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
