Every day brings new challenges, requiring technical expertise, quick thinking, and a commitment to safety and quality.Job DescriptionPay: $33–$42/hr base pay (based on experience) + year end bonus+ $6/hr shift differential for hours worked Friday–Sunday (starting at 5:00 AM) Average Annual: $90K–$114KWork Schedules: 2 Schedule Options Available Option 1: Fri–Mon 4:30 AM – 4:30 PM (or 5am-5pm)Option 2: Thurs–Sun 4:30 AM – 4:30 PM (or 5am-5pm) Location: Douglassville, PA (Serving Reading, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Exeter, Birdsboro, Boyertown, Limerick and surrounding areas)Job Description:Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter/megger to diagnose electrical issuesProperly size components and cabling for new electrical systemsReads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical componentsMaintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and augers.Test malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairsRepair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to minimize downtimeTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pressure issues, large cylinders, sensors, proportional valves, solenoids & pumpsTest electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopesDocument and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:3 + years’ experience working in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field.Proven experience in industrial maintenance working with both electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial or manufacturing environmentProficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical componentsExperience maintaining and troubleshooting 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systemsAble to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipmentExperienced in heavy industrial mechanical repairs; rigging, welding & fabrication preferredExperience troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, & Allen BradleyProficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machineryCollaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership.Education and Experience:Technical certificates, degrees or equivalent experience (preferred) Why Techo-Bloc?We take care of our team with strong pay, reliable hours, and real benefits.✅ Weekly Pay
