York Hospital, an independent community hospital in the charming, seaside town of York, Maine, is seeking a highly experienced BC/BE General Anesthesiologist. York Hospital is well-respected for clinical excellence and industry-leading patient experience. We offer a full array of support services in a comfortable, caring environment. You will be supported and work alongside a dedicated team of support staff and seasoned providers. Our culture encourages strong, collegial relationships across all levels of staff.

York Hospital has 48 adult medicine beds, including 5 ICU beds, and an outpatient community clinic setting. It offers strong primary care and specialty services, 5 OR suites with access to DaVinci Xi robot, and a strong GI presence with advanced endoscopy.

Position Attributes:

• Full-time, hospital employed
• Competitive market salary, excellent benefits including sign-on bonus, relocation assistance
• 30 days Paid Time Off
• Q4 On Call schedule
• Group consists of 4 Anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs
• Mix of CRNA supervision and completing own cases

Candidate Requirements:

• Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology
• Must have current, unrestricted, Maine licensure in progress and be active on date of hire
• Current, unrestricted federal and, as needed, state prescriptive authority
• Extensively trained and experienced
• Strong regional skills
