Job Description
The Warehouse Material Handler plays a crucial role in supporting warehouse operations by efficiently managing materials, inventory, and equipment. Working within a large team, this individual ensures smooth loading, unloading, and shipping processes while maintaining accurate stock levels and a safe work environment. Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the Warehouse Material Handler occasionally works overtime to meet operational demands.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Manage inventory to ensure accuracy and availability
- Load and unload shipments with care and precision
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Coordinate shipping and receiving tasks
- Pick orders accurately for timely dispatch
- Package items securely for transport
- Perform routine equipment maintenance
- Replenish stock to maintain inventory levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in warehouse operations but also accepting experience forklift drivers
- High school diploma or equivalent
