Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

We are hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract position in Winamac, IN at a retail pharmacy. In this role you will support pharmacists by performing order entry, ringing up customers, assembling, stocking, and distributing medications with accuracy. Local candidates only. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license required.
• Retail pharmacy experience required, including order entry and customer transactions.
• PTCB certification required to cover sister facility when needed; PTCB preferred for other candidates.
• Experience with PioneerRx order entry system preferred.
• Ability to complete 3 days of training/orientation prior to start.
• Local candidates only.
• HR credentials required prior to start: HIPAA training, CPS Code of Conduct, background check, drug screen, copy of license/certification, job description acknowledgment, pre-employment physical, MMR titers, and TB Mantoux or Quantiferon.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a small retail pharmacy setting with low-to-moderate daily script volume (~30 scripts/day).
• Experience supporting a pharmacy team that includes a Pharmacy Manager and one pharmacist FTE.
• Previous experience floating between nearby retail sites preferred.

Assignment Details

• Coverage hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Weekend coverage: Every other Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• May be required to cover a sister facility once trained and as needed. PTCB required for coverage at sister site.
• Dress code: Business casual.
