Full Stack Developer

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Havas Media Group is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Engineering and Technology team. This role is instrumental in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and data systems that support our internal teams and client-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular focus on database management, Python scripting, and API integration.

This position requires a technically skilled and analytically minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions that drive business insights and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Product, Data Engineering and Analytics teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

- Build and manage relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between systems and services.

- Automate data workflows and processes using Python scripting and other relevant tools.

- Deploy developed data science models into production environments to build quick prototypes and proof-of-concept applications, enabling rapid experimentation and iteration.

- Implement best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve development workflows and system architecture.

- Document technical processes and contribute to internal knowledge sharing through case studies, training materials, and technical write-ups.

Skills and Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of experience in full stack development with increasing levels of responsibility; experience in a digital agency or media environment is a plus.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with database design, optimization, and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

- Expertise in Python scripting for automation, data processing, and backend development.

- Experience with API development and integration, including RESTful services and authentication protocols.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment tools (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes).

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
