Maintenance DirectorThe Carriages of Marietta, Georgia is growing our team and we are looking for exceptional individuals to fill our Maintenance Director position. We take pride in providing our residents with quality care, sensitivity, and kindness while respecting their independence.The Maintenance Director is required to keep the residence and grounds in good repair in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations; inventory and order maintenance supplies; maintain a clean and safe environment for residents; prepare vacant rooms/apartments for new residents and respond promptly to all repair needs.Our Core PrinciplesService & Growth We will be passionate about caring for and serving our residents and their families, and in seeking new residents.Leadership We will seek to build effective leaders at every level of the organization.Simplicity We will focus on the fundamentals.Improvement We will get a little better each day.Stewardship We will be good stewards of all our resources.Attitude We will enthusiastically support each other in accomplishing our mission and goals.Perseverance We will never give up.What We OfferFull time employees receive:Medical, Dental, & Vision InsuranceHSAFlexShort Term Disability, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Critical Illness, AccidentPaid Time OffResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, painting, drywall, and light electrical work.Maintain the residence, common areas, and grounds in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition.Prepare vacant rooms or apartments for new residents.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair needs.Follow all safety, fire, and OSHA guidelines, including proper handling of materials and equipment.Provide safe transportation for residents to appointments, outings, and activities.Assist residents when entering and exiting vehicles, including use of wheelchair lifts when needed.Complete routine inspections and report any safety concerns or needed repairs.Support a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.QualificationsMinimum of one-year general maintenance experience.Experience with drywall, plumbing, painting, lite electrical.Exhibit an understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions efficientlyKnowledge RequirementsSafety and fire codes.OSHA, MSDS Sheets.This job requires a high school diploma.A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.If you love to work with seniors and are looking for a meaningful job experience; we would love to meet you!
