General Superintendent (Data Centers)

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative General Superintendent to support our data center project in Spartanburg, SC . You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, ensuring the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well‑being of your team and our planet. As a passionate leader you’ll leverage your people management skills to help your team members discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing daily site operations, coordinating with owners, designers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Required Qualifications At least 15 years of construction site experience At least 15 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, construction inspector, and/or construction manager Demonstrated working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering Collaboration in planning, design, construction and commissioning Excellent communication skills Proficiency in use of software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Bluebeam Facilitation and coordination of walkdowns, meetings and reviews with owners and designers Conduct constructability reviews Lead client and construction meetings Multidiscipline knowledge (Mechanical, Electrical, IC, CSA) Safety leadership (e.g., JHA revision / SPA daily signed‑off permits) QA construction experience Turnover process including TOP’s, punch list and walkdowns with contractors and owners Benefits Our health and welfare benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. Pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
