Travel Med Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, floating required.

We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care on a medical-surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 6:1 and will need to adapt to the demands of both the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage medication administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all care provided in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of the start date.
• Valid RN license to practice.
