Counterintelligence Surveillance Instructor (CSC) – Expert Level, Quantico, VA Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Job Description What You’ll Get to Do: You are responsible for providing world‑class Surveillance Course (CSC) instruction. Plan, conduct, and debrief instruction in discreet CI surveillance operations in support of missions (JAW EO12333, the Intelligence Authorization Act, and the DoD 5240/6), so that graduates can proficiently conduct discreet CI surveillance and closely observe the activities of a person of CI interest without compromising a CI investigation or operation. Deliver classroom‑based instruction and assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed 8 hours a day, include weekends, and require travel within the NCR. Travel within CONUS is required up to seven times per year for two weeks each time. Provide CI subject‑matter‑expert expertise for course development, instruction, and mentorship in OFCO support to CI. Employ blended learning techniques to include a combination of e‑learning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays and demonstrations of required skills through work‑related tasks. Expert Level Qualifications TS/SCI and CI polygraph or ability to obtain one. 10 years of demonstrated experience conducting, instructing, or supervising DoD CI surveillance. Possess expert knowledge of threat country / foreign intelligence entities (FIE) methodologies and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Experience as a JCITA CI Surveillance Course Instructor or be a graduate of the JCITA CI Surveillance Course. Be able to sit and stand for up to two hours at one time, and be able to walk for up to five miles in one day.
