This county-operated Department of Mental Health (DMH) facility provides outpatient psychiatric services to adults with serious mental illness in the Southern California High Desert region. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support continuity of psychiatric care delivery within the county mental health system. Locum tenens coverage is sought to meet the ongoing psychiatric care needs of the community served.

Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medications for adults presenting with SMI in an on-site outpatient setting. Documentation is completed using the EPIC EMR system. No call requirements are associated with this assignment.
