CAD Designer/Drafter

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated CAD Designer to join their team. As a CAD Designer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting design and drafting activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: CAD Designer

Location: Katy, Texas

Pay Range: $34.62

What's the Job?

• Create and modify CAD models and engineering drawings supporting manufacturing projects

• Assist engineering and manufacturing teams with drafting and design activities

• Support tolerance analysis and update drawings as needed

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production personnel to ensure design accuracy

• Maintain compliance with company drafting standards and procedures throughout project lifecycle

What's Needed?

• Working knowledge and experience with Autodesk Inventor

• Basic CAD drafting and design experience, including creating and modifying engineering drawings and models

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong attention to detail

• Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus

• Training, coursework, certification, or documented experience in CAD design or drafting
