The Kelly Group is seeking a Tool Repair Technician for its Lafayette, Indiana , location. Candidates should have experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining hand tools, power tools and related shop equipment.

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a wide variety of tools and equipment
• Disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble tools according to manufacturer specifications
• Replace worn or defective components such as switches, cords, bearings, brushes, gears and housings
• Test tools for proper operation, performance and safety prior to return to customers
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and parts tracking
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair estimates, timelines and status updates
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned
