California Licensed Permit Coordinator

Supporting the Wetlands Protection Program, the part-time California Licensed Permit Coordinator will manage technical reviews, quality control, and oversight of consultant work products related to wetlands and waterway jurisdictional delineation reports while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including the Clean Water Act and California Fish and Game Code Collaborate with the wetlands team and project stakeholders to develop permitting strategies and provide guidance based on project needs Coordinate with federal and state resource agencies to ensure adherence to water quality protection regulations Required qualifications 3 years of general water quality compliance experience 3 years of experience in regulatory permitting and negotiation in California 2 years of experience as a jurisdictional water and wetland delineator, including completion of a minimum 40-hour Wetland Delineation course 2 years of resource and project planning experience 2 years of experience using ArcGIS and Google Earth
