Overview Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery in Lancaster, Ohio. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and night shift. Work setting: a short-term acute care hospital. Weekly pay is $1,812 to $1,851 per week. Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform electronic fetal monitoring as required, interpret tracing, and expedite non-reassuring findings per protocol. Administer medications and treatments, implement physician orders, and ensure accurate, safe delivery of care. Educate patients and families from admission through discharge; document thoroughly and clearly. Notify and collaborate with physicians regarding pertinent changes in patient status; respond promptly to urgent situations. Supervise and direct the work of nursing assistants and other team members; delegate tasks appropriately. Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available; report malfunctions to the appropriate department.
