About the Role Join a dynamic supply chain team as a Category Manager II, managing multi‑million‑dollar contracts and driving procurement excellence. This Louisville‑based, hybrid position focuses on complex contract management rather than buying, with significant responsibility for end‑to‑end supply chain operations across a variety of capital projects and corporate needs. You will work independently, collaborate with stakeholders, and directly influence the company’s strategic sourcing outcomes. Responsibilities Develop and execute negotiation strategies for high‑value, complex contracts (up to $100M annually) Collaborate with Legal to ensure commercial protection and optimal contract terms Analyze markets and suppliers for risk, pricing, and financial impact; implement risk mitigation tactics Lead contract administration, from requirements definition through investment recovery Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and emerging technologies Serve as the primary liaison for supplier relationships and performance tracking Support project management teams in developing and executing contracting strategies for capital projects Maintain deep expertise in assigned category, including market trends, supplier base, and regulatory factors Ensure compliance with quality, schedule, and cost objectives Drive continuous improvement and productivity initiatives across the supply chain Engage in on‑site collaboration at least three days per week Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or 5 years of related experience Minimum 2 years in logistics, materials, or services buying Strong experience with contract negotiation, redlining, and Microsoft Office tools Understanding of contract language and business law fundamentals Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities Effective communication and relationship management skills Preferred Skills C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. certification, or similar supply chain credential Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement background Strong project management capabilities Proficiency with databases and advanced MS Office functions Experience supporting complex capital projects Benefits Exposure to multi‑million‑dollar projects and company‑wide impact Collaborative, hybrid work environment with in‑office team engagement (Tues‑Thurs) Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Work with a respected team recognized for integrity and supply chain excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr Indotronix UK
