CT Technician

About the Role: As a CT Technician at Humanitary Medical Center, you will play a critical role in the diagnostic imaging department , providing essential support to the physicians in diagnosing and treatment patients . Your primary responsibility will be to perform high quality CT examination while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will be expected to operate advance imaging equipment, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Additionally, you will be responsible for adhering to safety protocols and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the imaging equipment. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall health and well-being of our patients. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Current certification as a CT Technician from a recognized body. Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technician. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques or specialties. Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Responsibilities: Perform CT examinations on patients as per physician orders. Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and guidelines. Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is in good work condition. Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in patient care. Educate patients about the scanning process, addressing any questions or concerns to alleviate anxiety. Skills: The required skills enable the CT Technician to operate complex imaging equipment accurately and safely, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are produced consistently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for explaining procedures to patients, alleviating their concerns, and collaborating effectively with medical staff. Attention to detail and organizational skills are used daily to maintain precise records and adhere to strict safety protocols. Preferred skills such as familiarity with EMR systems and additional certifications enhance the technician's ability to integrate technology and advanced techniques into their workflow.
