Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Weekend Rotating)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Tele unit. The RN will be responsible for promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, providing specialized care, and demonstrating competence in nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per medical protocols.
• Initiate IVs, manage Foley catheters, and perform dressing changes.
• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care plans.
• Utilize Meditech for documentation and patient management.
• Ensure quality patient care by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active TX RN License (Temporary licenses are NOT accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Tele experience and 2 years of hospital experience.
• Experience with Meditech documentation preferred.
