Calibration Technician
$24 - $27 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform calibrations, preventative maintenance, and repairs on laboratory pipettes and instrumentation. The role involves both on-site customer visits and lab-based work in the San Jose area, with travel up to five days weekly.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, qualification, and preventative maintenance on single and multi-channel pipettes
- Travel to customer sites to conduct pipette calibrations and maintenance services
- Troubleshoot and repair small laboratory equipment in field and laboratory settings
- Complete administrative documentation, reports, and maintain parts inventory
- Communicate with customers to schedule services and provide timely updates on issues
Requirements
- Two- or four-year degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, electronic engineering, biotechnology, or related field
- 0–1 years (FSE I) or 1–3 years (FSE II) experience in field service or related technical role
- Valid US work authorization without sponsorship needs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift equipment and work in varied lab environments
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel within territory up to five days per week, including overnight stays
Compensation: FSE I: $24–$27/hour; FSE II: $27–$30/hour
