Riviera Healthcare Center in Pico Rivera, CA actively seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team for up to 25 hours/week!
Welcome to Riviera Healthcare Center located in sunny Pico Rivera, California. We are committed to being a leader in the skilled nursing and rehabilitation arena. For over 50 years, our 150-bed facility has been providing the highest quality nursing and rehabilitation services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to residents.
- Carry out treatment plans designed to help residents develop or regain daily living and work skills.
- Document resident progress, responses, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Educate residents and families on treatment plans and progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
Qualifications:
- Current State COTA License
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
