Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients, including those in the CCU and hybrid cath lab settings. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through expert clinical skills and compassionate support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced cardiac critical care to patients in the CVICU and CCU units.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in call rotations and weekend shifts to ensure continuous patient coverage.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Colorado RN license in good standing.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience, with Day 0 CVICU exposure required.
• Demonstrate strong CVICU skills and experience with hybrid cath labs.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Be vaccinated against influenza, with no exemptions.
