Procurement Specialist

Our client is an International Bank based in Midtown Manhattan. They are looking for a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist for 6-12+ month assignment. This role will be on a hybrid basis and all applicants must be vaccinated.
The bank seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented, team player to support the Procurement department:
- Hybrid work environment, contract 40 hours per week
- Understand and support the Procurement Policy
- Guide and support lines of business and service owners to elicit and understand purchase requirements
- Develop and execute sourcing plans
- Maintain the procurement plan
- Negotiate, analyze, and manage contracts throughout the contract lifecycle
- Procure goods and services as needed for the organization
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely demand management for our constituents
- Working Knowledge and understanding of Contract Terms and Conditions.
About You:
- 3-5 years demonstrated Procurement/Sourcing experience
- Intimate knowledge of the S/P2P process and experience using ERP systems (Workday)
- Working knowledge of the RFx process
- Proficient with Google Suite (Email, Calendar, Drive, & Sheets)
- 4 year degree preferred
- Experience in the finance industry
